It looks like Christmas has come early, folks, because General Mills has announced the return of French Toast Crunch to the United States.
“We have been overwhelmed by the consumer conversations, requests and passion for the cereal to come back,” says Waylon Good, marketing manager for Big G. “We value our fans and are so excited to be able to bring it back for them.”
French Toast Crunch is a cereal made to look and taste like little french toast pieces. The product was discontinued in the US in 2006, presumably by an executive in dire need of an exorcism, but has still be on sale on Canada this whole time.
The return of French Toast Crunch marks yet another product brought back through social media, including Surge and Crispy M&Ms.
